Yevgenia Belorusets is a Ukrainian photographer and writer. Her works include Lucky Breaks (New Directions, 2022) and Modern Animal (Isolarii, 2021). She is the co-founder of the journal Prostory. In 2020 she won the Haus der Kulturen der Welt International Literature Award.

Eugene Ostashevsky is a Russian-American writer, poet and translator. His works include The Feelings Sonnets (2019, NYRB) and The PirateWho Does Not Know the Value of Pi (NYRB, 2017). He has translated writers including Alexander Vvedensky, Daniil Kharms and Dmitry Golynko. He teaches at NYU.
