Maël Renouard’s most recent books are L'historiographe du royaume (Grasset, 2020) and Notes sur Lascaux (Éditions Du Sandre, 2018). He has taught philosophy at the Sorbonne and the École Normale Supérieure and translated Nietzsche, Joseph Conrad, Arthur Schnitzler among others. In 2014 Renouard was made a chevalier of the Ordre des Arts et Lettres.

Peter Behrman de Sinéty is a writer and translator. He teaches English at the Ecole Normale Supérieure. Behrman de Sinety has translated works by Maël Renouard and Éric Chevillard, and is currently translating Pierre Guyotat.
