Two elderly women, evidently mother and daughter, are sitting on chairs in front of the stationery store outside Mapo Primary School, chattering away about evenings back in the days when the mossroses bloomed. Little kids wanting to buy things turn their heads from one to the other, unsure which of them they should give the money to.
